The Portuguese-Chinese Cultural Association is an independent non-profit organisation for the international cultural promotion and exchange, stimulating and promoting international cultural and creative economy exchange in collaboration with the (international) cultural field, civil society, the business world and governments.
ACLC pays specific attention to China, Portugal, the Portuguese speaking countries and other Portuguese history related cultures. Our aim is to intensify cultural relations.
ACLC is unique among Chinese and Portuguese cultural and creative industries association, with its headquarters in Matosinhos, Porto, and Beijing branch, planned to set up representative offices in Shanghai, Wuhan, Macao within the next three years.
The Portuguese-Chinese Cultural Association is dedicated to promote exchanges and cooperation in cultural and creative industries between China and Portugal, promote and organise international forums and a variety of cultural activities, providing market information for the Sino-Portuguese cultural and creative industries and sharing the Portuguese creative industries operating experience, spreading Portuguese creative industries management ideas and technology, arranging liaison and cooperation matters about the cultural and creative industries project between China and Portugal.
Design culture exchange with Beijing Union University and China Woman’s University in Portugal. Representatives of this universities enrolled a series of activities with Portuguese design and culture related agents.
ACLC was received by Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing Gehua Cultural Development Group and Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, in Beijing.
The Embassy of the Republic of Portugal in Beijing held its ‘Portugal-Day' at the Ambassador's Residence. The Ambassador of Portugal, Jorge Torres-Pereira welcomed the guests that included ACLC.
ACLC was present in Lisbon at the CCILC Diplomatic Lunch with Huang Songfu, Chinese Ambassador in Lisbon and Jorge Torres Pereira, Portuguese Ambassador in Beijing.
Education exchange with Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture and Beijing Chaoyang Experimental Primary School in Portugal. Representatives of this institutions will meet Portuguese educational institutions.
